Six ways cargo moves through VIAAN
Every entry below is run in-house from the Gandhidham desk. Use the index, or scroll the full folio.

[ 05 / CONTAINER TRADING & LEASING ]
Container Trading & Leasing
VIAAN trades and leases its own container inventory: new-build, cargo-worthy, and IICL-surveyed units in standard and special sizes. Whether you need fifty boxes on a one-way lease to the Gulf or a handful of units purchased outright for storage, we quote from stock we control, not from a broker's chain.
- Sale of new, one-trip, and cargo-worthy used containers
- One-way, round-trip, and term leasing structures
- 20' GP, 40' GP, 40' HC and special equipment on request
- Survey reports and ownership papers with every unit

[ 01 / NVOCC ]
NVOCC
As a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier, VIAAN issues its own house bills of lading and contracts space with mainline carriers on the lanes Gujarat trade actually uses. Shippers get one accountable counterparty from booking to release, with rates and equipment commitments we answer for ourselves.
- House B/L issuance and full documentation control
- Slot and service contracts on Kandla and Mundra mainline calls
- FCL and LCL consolidation with transparent per-TEU pricing
- Destination agent network across the Gulf, Southeast Asia, Europe and Africa
[ 06 / CONTAINER DOMESTICATION ]
Container Domestication
When an imported container's international life ends, domestication converts it for domestic circulation: customs formalities are concluded, the unit is re-documented, and the box goes back to work in Indian trade. We manage the full conversion file so shipping lines and traders release equipment without leaving liabilities open.
- End-to-end domestication filings with customs
- Line and lessor coordination for equipment release
- Re-documentation for domestic rail and road circulation
- Disposal and resale of domesticated units through our trading desk
[ 02 / FREIGHT FORWARDING ]
Freight Forwarding
Forwarding at VIAAN means one desk owns your shipment file: rate procurement, booking, documentation, and tracking through to delivery. Because we sit in the Kandla-Mundra belt, routing decisions are made with live knowledge of vessel calls, gate hours, and inland haulage conditions rather than from a remote head office.
- Door-to-door and port-to-port quotations with all surcharges declared upfront
- Carrier and schedule selection tuned to cargo readiness, not carrier convenience
- Shipment-file tracking from booking through delivery order
- Project and out-of-gauge cargo handled with method statements
[ 03 / TRANSPORTATION ]
Transportation
Containers only earn money when they move. Our transportation desk runs trailer placements across Gandhidham, Kandla, Mundra, and the Gujarat industrial belt, sequencing factory stuffing, CFS work, and terminal gate-ins so boxes meet their vessel without idle days.
- 20' and 40' trailer placement across Kutch and the Gujarat hinterland
- Factory stuffing and de-stuffing supervision
- Gate-in planning against VGM and form 13 cutoffs
- Empty repositioning between yards, CFSs, and terminals
[ 04 / CUSTOM CLEARING ]
Custom Clearing
Clearance is where shipments stall. Our clearing team files at the Kandla and Mundra customs stations daily, so classification calls, duty structures, and examination practice are working knowledge rather than research. Documents are built to pass on first presentation; queries get answered the day they are raised.
- Bill of entry and shipping bill filing on ICEGATE
- HS classification and duty benefit review before cargo arrives
- Examination and sampling attendance at the station
- Post-clearance amendment and refund follow-through
Tell the desk what needs to move.
